Tesco, the UK’s retail giant, continues to deny the VK Garment workers justice. 

The VK Garment workers demand compensation for the years they worked in forced labour conditions for Tesco, and time is up for the retail giant!

 The workers at VK Garment were made to work 99-hour weeks and paid illegally low wages.  

Tesco were given TWELVE chances to fix this before the workers brought legal action, but they took none. Despite saying that they are a responsible business Tesco have repeatedly failed to pay their workers what they are owed and offer remedy. 

Tesco knew of the risks of sourcing from Mae Scot and of multiple red flags in the factory from the very beginning – their initial auditing in 2017 suggests so. They knew of contradictory auditing reports. They knew they profited from worker exploitation. 

No more excuses. 

Our demand is simple: Tesco, pay up!
